Shambhala Day marks the beginning of the New Year, and represents one of the most important cultural traditions in Shambhala. Shambhala Day is a time for us to express the wealth and richness of our spiritual and cultural heritage through meditation, conversation and food. Everyone is warmly invited to celebrate Shambhala Day 2018- the Year of the Earth Dog - with your Shambhala community.

    When: Friday, Feb 16
Where: Ziji House, 523 W 3rd St, Lexington

    • 10:00 - Shambhala Sadhana practice
    • 11:30 - Potluck lunch (bring a dish to share!) and community updates
    • 1:00 -  an address by Shambhala's spiritual leader Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche

The Celebration Continues on Sunday, Feb 18 - 3 to 5 pm

We will be hosting an open house on the Sunday following Shambhala Day at our space at the corner of Maxwell and Mill Streets so everyone can tour the construction site and see the exciting progress that has been made. For those who miss the Sakyong's talk on Shambhala Day, we will be playing it during the open house.
